“Captain Virat Kohli has arrived in Chennai,” RCB announced in a tweet Kohli’s arrival, along with a picture of his captain wearing a mask. RCB face defending champion Mumbai Indians Opener in the tournament here on 9 April.
Kohli, who has been with RCB since the inception of IPL in 2008, left the bio-bubble in Pune on Monday after India. ODI series Victory against England.
He has been part of the bio-safe bubble before the England series since late January, and was part of four Tests, five T20 Internationals and three ODIs each.
Another key player of RCB and South African star batsman AB de Villiers also joined RCB’s bio bubble on Thursday.
The 37-year-old has been a key player for the batting team since joining the franchise in 2011.
